It is a long building with the big hall, kitchen facilities, storage and toilets. Situated right next to one of the main roads off Belmont Circle. This is the event venue for rental. Nice ceiling structure inside of the building and beautiful flooring. Fire escape. Does need a bit of refreshing of the walls inside.

An excellent monthly quiz is held there amongst other things. It is comfortable and ideal for the purpose.

Save yourself the headache and find another hall to hire. Sandra from the community association was extremely unprofessional and thought it was appropriate to throw an item at me in front of my baby at the end of our event because she was tired and frustrated at having to come and lock up at midnight (this was the time that was agreed when our event was scheduled). It was really upsetting that our day was dampened by her irrational behaviour. She should not be dealing with members of the public if she has mental health difficulties, which was clearly the case by the behaviour she displayed on the day. I wholly regret booking Belmont Community Hall and wouldn’t hire the space again even if it was free. Giving 1 star as it’s not possible to give 0 stars.

Attended a community meeting here. Well lit very warm and cosy on a cold damp night. Lovely clean toilets.
They have lots of activities going on here and the hall can be hired out for functions etc. Good kitchen area and tables and chair. Parking avaliable

Visited a few times for quiz evenings. Facilities initially seem basic and dated, but then you have to think of the use this hall is put to and it makes more sense. Attached car park is small with narrow spaces so best avoided unless mobility is an issue.

Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. After speaking to Tony and arranging the date I wanted it became very difficult to get incontact to book and pay a deposit. After finally getting in to contact with Tony who asked me to contact Sandra who I found extremely rude& unprofessional. she was unhelpful and told me they are volunteers and do not get paid for their job, its not my problem or business if your a volunteer or if you get paid. Apparently they have been away for 10days on holiday and then to top it off they gave away the date I wanted. I will never use this service or tecommend them to anyone!
