I’m so grateful to have met the founders of this fantastic UK based charity which is helping the community in Sierra Leone. I’ve personally been fortunate enough to attend and view the facilities available in Yonibana and they are undoubtedly making a huge impact on the lives of those people that use the facilities available through the Better Lives Foundation charity.
The vision to expand the hospital is doable and will bring a lot of new opportunities and possibilities to those who are in need of the services that will be provided during the expansion. The facilities will help to educate and provide a supportive and sustainable framework and education to the emerging new generation of graduates who will get to study at the new facilities when they are finished.

A life-saving charity organisation, run by the most dedicated individuals I have ever met. It gave me the opportunity, as a dental surgeon to provide free care and treatment to those in need, in Yonibana, Sierra Leone. Over the years, many healthcare professionals have travelled there and served in their respective capacities. But this has only been possible because of the infrastructure and facilities being built and maintained by the Better Lives Foundation. The vision is to construct a free teaching university hospital, that is sustainable and empowering to the local population. Funds and expertise is urgently needed. Let us all do our best to make it happen. ?
