On website it says their office is at 36 Bristol Street and is open on wed fro. 1pm - 4pm. I took a vulnerable woman to see them. We were their at 1:15pm. A notice on door said we're closed today, with no explanation. Shutters were down. A waste of our journey and the stress the woman had to go through. It didn't even say if they were open next day. The opening times cleay showed "wed open 1-4pm". It takes a lot of courage for a woman suffering from DV to take the step of reaching out for help. Very disappointed ?

My experience with them through Poppy deserves 5 star and more. She gave me so much support and information through my adventure. Some information that you can not find on the Internet. She gave referrals to correct places to sort my other issues out. Without them, I couldn’t have survived from this hardship. Thank you so much ✨

Their admin worker Priya lacks manners and is extremely rude. The organisation will not help you, instead they will all waste your time and lie to you constantly. You will never be able to get in touch with your support worker so you may aswell not have one, the organisation lies regarding the support they offer to you in the beginning and then they will not pick your future calls on purpose and leave you stranded to inconvenience you. This is the first womens aid I’ve seen be a very nasty bunch of workers to be honest. This is not really women’s aid, do not go to them, go somewhere where there’s decent and competent people working so you can get the proper help you need.

You falsely wrote a statement where u state I broke my exes arm and I'm a danger without even checking if 1. I'm a violent man 2. She had a broken arm ? she hasn't ever broke her arm and I'm not violent I suggest you do research into cases b4 representation as the amount of people who must be lied a out like me,, I dred to think I've filed a complaint. None of what was said is true and u wrote it like its facts should be ashamed of yourself and not just agree with any women who u may think is an abuse victim without even checking for evidence.

This is the place to go if you are a woman experiencing domestic abuse. They currently have the contract with Birmingham city council to provide a domestic abuse support service. They link in with refuge's and also Birmingham's homeless service. They can also give advice on how to get legal protection from perpetrators of domestic abuse.
