i left my kids in blubell for shortstay friday to sunday. there was no heating in blubell (my kids and husband get high temperature from cold inside blubell building) , staff was lazy, where staff drinking coffie in living room from morning to later afternoon. staff had poor training, they cannot secure seat belt in my sons wcheelchair (blaiming its my son fault cause he left hes room) and my husband has been touch by staff personell on hes head without hes permission on friday evening with is molesting. Strongly avoid

A truly beautiful facility for one of the most devastating of circumstances.

The amazing folks at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice provide the best of care for children with life-ending conditions, and support their families too. I visited whilst looking into how we could support the charity at work, and was totally overwhelmed with how beautiful this facility is, and totally committed staff who do such outstanding work.

Though I would never wish for anyone to need such a place, it’s heartening to know that it exists for those who find themselves in such circumstances. Knowing that the most vulnerable in society have the opportunity to spend the end of their lives in such a respectful, compassionate and comfortable setting is truly inspiring.
