I've been learning from Bodhi College for almost five years. I very much enjoy the perspective of Buddhism they present, characterized maybe as "Early Buddhist Teachings", based on the Pali Canon. The teachers all have many years of practice and teaching experience, each with varying views and expressions of the dharma, yet all rooted in Compassion and Well Being for all. An excellent resource for all levels of practitioner, beginning to advanced. Thanks very much for your continued offerings. Highest rating.

What Bodhi College has given me since the Committed Dharma Practitioner Programme (CDP) some 9 years ago, has been transformative - a lifeline - until this day!
What unexpected good fortune to be guided by some of the West's first generation of teachers of the Vipassana or Insight tradition. They returned from their immersion with Masters in monasteries in the East such as Daramsala, Korea or Thailand, with a fresh, demystifying approach to the Dharma, making it utterly relevant to the 21st century,
With their ongoing support, and varied ongoing offerings, it's been such a relief to keep exploring how to lead an engaged ethical life, on a path leading to freedom;
how to understand the meaning of 'awakening from', to 'awakening to', through investigation of craving and ill will, and through cultivation of qualities such as generosity and friendliness.
Bodhi College course participants, especially in the CDP, often develop into micro-communities which thrive, sustained by ongoing workshops and learning events.
Darkness, confusion threaten. Yet there is light, there is clarity, but for orienting towards them.

Bodhi College provides an ideal environment for nourishing my love of learning. It's a "college" in name only. Its campus is a website. Its classrooms are online. No grades. No degree plans. No admission requirements.

The subject matter? An exploration of the wisdom, philosophy, psychology, practices, and ethics that originated 2,500 years ago, in ancient India, with the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, who came to be known as The Buddha. Some call it Early Buddhism, Original Buddhism, Secular Buddhism, Secular Dharma, Modern or Western Buddhism. By any name, I like it!

Bodhi College's secular (non-religious and non-dogmatic) approach to Buddha's teachings is compatible with a wide range of individual beliefs and practice traditions, as well as those with no beliefs. It offers courses for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students of the Dharma.

My favorite feature of Bodhi College is the opportunity to be in zoom rooms with classmates (and sometimes with teachers) to discuss the lessons. Bodhi College sponsors a limited number of ongoing study groups and community groups that provide online sanghas for participants.

Having been a student at Bodhi College since 2020, I hope to never graduate. LOL!
