The Boise Bicycle Project is truly a special place. The incredible folks who work here will renew and reaffirm your faith in humanity. Joleen Evans and Anika Bennett are amazing human beings and I cannot thank them enough for helping me obtain a quality, affordable, refurbished bike yesterday. Y'all are awesome folks. This incredible organization is truly a treasure in the Treasure Valley.

Man just went in for help at the bicycle project. I’ve been having issues with my handlebars the guy I encountered at the door made me feel like I was greatly inconveniencing them. Every question I asked was followed with a negative response like probably not, not sure, don’t think so. I asked if I could please use a tool to loosen four bolts on the handlebar mount and try to do it myself. Was told no as they are closing soon. That was at 5:50pm well I’m standing twenty feet away looking at a very open bicycle project with multiple customers that have came in and out and the time is now 6:25pm door wide open. Thanks bicycle project I even conveyed to both the man and owner that I only had a clamp holding on my bar and this was dangerous would have been out of there way before now. Good looking out Boise bicycle project!!!! Hope you’re still asking for donations for all the help you DONT give to your community!!!!

Update: a couple years later and im still over the moon with this organization! There are some amazing peole here who are helpful and kind. I couldn't imagine our community without them ?

a great experience, both times! My son got his bike through the Boise bike project back in 2019. When he was gifted the bike the staff did an amazing job and also educated the children about bike safety and sharing the road or path. He has never forget this experience and takes his bike safety very seriously! He got a flat tire this summer and was so upset (mainly because I was not able to fix it as I have no real knowledge about bikes ‍♀️) I contacted Boise Bike Project and Emily offered us 2 different options in helping us fix the tires. When we arrived the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating to me with two small children. We were in and out of there in under 20mins and my son was beyond excited to see the building and their cool setup. We are grateful to have such a great community who gives back and helps where they can.

I have fallen in love with this place! I love the fact that you can donate hours and learn how to work on bikes in lieu of or trade for what you need on your own bike! Such a great service and project to have in the community! Thank you so much Boise bike project for being in existence and giving such a wonderful blessing to our community!
