Bookham village day is held here every year, often the day before fathers day in June. It's one of the best places to spot people that you haven't seen for 15 years and then remember what they used to look like. Lunch inside the barn hall is always disappointing but you do get a seat. Outside at the bbq the food is more satisfying but you need to stand up, however you can watch the falcony -bellydancing-taichi-steeldrum-display whilst you eat. Plus entry is free unlike ashtead village day the following week.

Bookham Community Hall has been recently been refurbished and is a very welcoming place to visit. It is used regularly by the local community for various activities including local events such as Village Day, night and and day social events. The Bookham U3A use it for many of their groups who meet their on a regular basis.

I go here to donate blood but it's a very popular venue and is always in use for so many different functions and events, at the heart of the Bookham community it's highly utilised.
