If you are happy to pay a bit more for the best, then give Guy and his team ago at Bossington Hall. The visit will make you feel like the Lord and Lady of the Manor in a very friendly way, The rooms are large and very comfortable and ours had the view to die for. You have lounges to enjoy along with an honesty bar and snacks, A water fall and stone bridge in the grounds and out of the back gate you are onto miles of waymarked paths to local attractions or stay in and have a game of tennis. There is even a dining area if you want to bring back a takeaway or just sit on the terrace in the sun with G&T in hand. What about breakfast well for us it was perfect. Huge dining room well laid out. Great fresh fruit, cereals and croissants plus traditional freshly cooked quality ( sausage and bacon ) produce. The poached eggs were spot on too. Out walking for the day order a packed lunch to take with you if you are not visiting one of the local tea rooms.

We had an amazing week's stay at Bossington Hall in August 2024.The location, room and breakfast were all stunning, making our stay so relaxing. The views from our room were breathtaking. Thank you so much to all the staff at Bossington Hall for giving us such a relaxing stay. We look forward to returning.

Lovely property in a beautiful setting. Very clean, comfortable room with some very nice touches. Great bathroom with fabulous views. Location is great for walkers, and pubs/restaurants are a short drive away. Delicious, well cooked breakfasts with great ingredients and plenty of choice. Honesty bar is a welcome addition and packed lunches available.

I stayed in the Bunkhouse the price was incredibly cheap the set out was lovely everything was clean and accessible. They had a system where you could buy meals which was absolutely great after a long walk on the coastal path. The place was faultless! I'll be coming back for sure.

Last minute booking for Allerford View (self catering annex) to meet up with friends who were staying B&B in main house. ||Very roomy and comfortable annex. Spotlessly clean. Well stocked kitchen. Large wet room. Huge comfy bed.||Comfortable lounge with plenty of room to relax.||As the weather was dreadful (Storm Bert) we entertained our friends in the annex - plenty of room for 4 in the lounge and kitchen. Separate loo as well as ensuite shower room.||We are familiar with the area (regularly staying at a nearby campsite) and it's great for walking. Bossington Hall is perfectly positioned with a footpath leading up into the woods at the bottom of the driveway. We walked in and out of Porlock to the pub (30 mins each way on quiet lane).||The owners obviously take great pride in the property and gardens. We were delighted at the attention to detail in the property.||10+||A***

We had a superb weekend at Bossington Hall celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the stunning location, very comfortable bed, luxurious en-suite bathroom, amazing breakfast and peaceful atmosphere, we wouldn't have changed a thing. The wellness suite and sauna was a great bonus. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we felt utterly spoilt.|We loved that we could walk from the Hall right up to the top of Selworthy Beacon via a choice of well waymarked paths with stunning views, attractive woodland and a choice of lovely tearooms on the return route.|Highly recommended!

This is without doubt the very best B&B experience we have ever had anywhere.||The location and the views are stunning, the house is beautiful and the attention to every detail is quite superb. ||Breakfast is a gourmets' delight with a wide selection of food available, much of which is locally sourced, and what pleasure it was to experience such great flavours.||Another great feature is the provision of an honesty bar which contains a wide selection of drinks and a variety of cheeses and snacks. ||Guy, the owner, could not have been more hospitable and gave us plenty of information about the local area, including walks and places to eat.||All in all our 4 nights at Bossington went far too quickly and we will certainly arrange a return visit. Hopefully next time there will be no mist and fog to spoil the views!

We had a relaxing and enjoyable time at Bossington - along with our dog, Bean. |Our room was comfortable and spacious with a separate bathroom - a good shower with plenty of hot water. |It’s a 5 minute walk to the pebble beach and a 10 minute drive into Porlock where there are cafes and shops. We found plenty to occupy us despite the dreary weather. |Couldn’t recommend a better place for a short break -it was perfect!
