Roy’s is Expensive, no different to M&S prices and the rent they charge over shops has caused the place to be a takeaway spot. 3 takeaways and 2 cafe/bakery’s.

Only gets 2 for its convenience but doesn’t takeaway the double prices you have to pay

Bowthorpe appears really calm and quiet for my liking. It’s a family oriented space I believe and it works well for that purpose. There are quite a number of shops/outlets that serve different purposes so it works well.

The hidden gem of shopping, you enter via a road surrounded by trees. There's is loads of parking, both normal and disabled. Public toilets and the vest shop - Roy's!! It's huge. Don't forget your wallet - you'll need it here. I went in for a drink and spent £60 lol. It's like a mega store crossed wuth the middle aisle of lidl. Fantastic place.

Nice place to come to get out of the house for a few hours.
Grab a Cappuccino, sit n watch the world go by then...nip into 'Roys' for a few things then...grab another Cappuccino just before you head home

This has always been a handy, friendly shopping center. Seen many different shops come & go from Sainsburys, Blockbuster video & Hughes electricals. Now we enjoy the charity shops, Roy's cafe, Roys store. Theres plenty of shops. I've used Boots chemist there & the bakery do lovely cream cakes, Sticky buns, breads & other baked goodies. If you don't drive, or you've stopped off at The Norkie for a pint or more, leap frog taxis is there to make sure you & your shopping get home. And being electric cars, you're helping the environment too.
