Very nice place and quite, next to an amazing park ...
the people here welcomed me and treated me as a citizen even I am a foreigner and couldn't speak very well with them ..

Nice place but annoying/ non functioning booking system that shows availability but your bookings then get cancelled due to the holidays or other reasons. The nice sounding people email you saying they have cancelled your booking and to get in touch to book an alternative but the email is a noreply address and the phone number goes to a mailbox that is full and their online booking system is pointless if they repeatedly cancel slots that appear to be available. I know it's a community centre/ charity rather than a commercial entity but it's frustrating.

A great venue for a children's party. Two rooms were allocated to us, one a party room where the disco was held and another with a small kitchen and tables so the children could eat together. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, a fridge, space in freezer and a water boiler and microwave. We were given full instructions on use of everything. You do have to sweep up and return tables to original positions when you leave but a very good location.

Nice simple hall to rent for kids birthdays. Good size, price I understand was fair. Location and parking are good. One gripe was the bar/pub side of the centre ( behind closed doors) was entertaining while we were at a child's Bday party. At time the laughter and noise coming from that area was loud and clearly under the influence.

I've been to a couple of exercise classes at the Centre in the past, but probably won't go again - what could have been a lovely yoga class was ruined by noise from other rooms and outside activities. Love the idea of a local Centre though, just not for me as it is.

Cheep, cheerful community center.

A small coffee shop inside and it comes with the place if you rent it.

There is usually something going on (although it's often private functions)

I have been to a couple of kids birthday parties and it's a good venue.

Amazing place now the cafe is open and the groups are up and running! The toddler group is particularly good with lots to keep the little one entertained when we attend.
