I find it extremely ironic how you advertise a helpline for people in despair and extreme lows... yet you don't even answer the phone. I can understand that you're a voluntary, non profitable based charity which would be great IF you picked up the phone. On the other end of these calls that aren't being picked up, are vulnerable and possibly suicidal people. All I could think when I rang and waited 20 minutes for a response is "Wow, even the suicide helplines don't care about me enough to pick up the call, what's the point?"

We don't need useless charities that don't follow through with what they are advertising, we need better mental health funding in the NHS to really help people tackle their problems. People facing extreme difficulties cannot wait 3-6 months for counselling through the NHS. And if it gets to the point where they are quite literally willing to try talk through their problems with a completely random, untrained volunteer then they definitely haven't got 30 minutes or however long you lot take to pick the phone up.

From other reviews, it seems that the support is terrible anyway so I am glad you didn't pick up. I didn't need my night to go any worse than it already has. Thanks for nothing.

A little unregulated and have been hung up on before. Maybe a little contradictory to the help or need involved. Some volunteers are rude and shut down the callers opinion, which seems dangerous and pointless. Also i get asked how many children i have after divulging my worries or struggles , seems like they dont relate or robottic to a degree. Are the volunteers trained in mental health /disability and ALL the various forms it presents in people. Do they judge accordingly. . To hung up on someone is concerning. Also have had the most amazing support from the ones who are open minded and aware. I worry at how this is not supported enough for both parties involved.

At least they answered, but it was not decent support whatsoever.. Felt like the person just had to go through a list of questions prepared without paying much attention to what I was saying:(

I am shocked but they are not questions but they are really good that people if I need to talk to someone that always there but I'm really but I'm really short for they don't carry that idea on them
