Went to the wonderful Repair Cafe. Got my sewing machine and radio/CD fixed for a donation - very pleased! Also had tea and surprisingly delicious home made vegan cake. Looking forward to the next event!
Really like the semi-circular shape of the building and lovely outdoor space with picnic benches and brick-built barbecue.
I'm only giving 4 stars simply because even with only a few people in there, the acoustics of the room magnified sound so that it quickly became difficult to have a conversation even sitting close to the other person. Can anything be done about this problem? Otherwise I think it’s a great place.
