Took our 3 grandchildren, 7, 9 and 10 years old. Graham met us as we entered and asked if we would like him to walk us through and explain the exhibitions. The kids absolutely loved it and Graham was so very good with them. The Rosie and Jim video at the end made their day.

Visited the life boat station today and was pleasantly surprised to find the cafe.
What a great idea.

Wouldn't be so good if the food and service was substandard, but no need to worry, service and food was great.

Nice seating area either outside or inside on what was the viewing platform.

Unveiling of the names on the new lifeboat. We attended as my husband's name was on the side. Great way to spend a Sunday lunchtime. We were lucky enough to go on the new boat and be shown around. Food and drink available together with ice cream. We indulged with burger and a hot dog, well cooked no long queue and value fir money. Such a good cause and lovely to see so many people turn out in support of the fund raising ?

This is a new cafe that's opened [The Lookout] and it's above the lifeboat. There is a lift and stairs to take you to the first floor, where there are tables and chairs on the balcony or inside.
Lovely food, willing staff, doggy friendly. The carpark is huge but isn't free, but we parked for free on the road and walked over. The photos are of our lunch prawn baguette and homemade soup and baguette. And the menu.
