Great views and walks from the hotel. We had a fabulous Burns Night at CCC. The event was so professionally organised with bagpipes, haggis etc. In particular the quality and choice of food, ambience and staff attentiveness were all outstanding. The standard room had everything we needed and was clean, tidy, bed comfy, shower warm, nice tea and coffee and a hairdryer. Lovely Cornish sausage and bacon breakfast with lots of coffee. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bad points first. Communication with paid guests prior to arrival. Uninformed about the restaurant being closed and the bar on minimum hours. We found out the restaurant would be closed on a Facebook post of theirs, not informed through booking.com we found out on arrival that the bar was closed that day and only open until 6pm the rest of the week as there is nothing within walking distance we had to drive out every evening 5:30pm onwards to find a place for a meal. We had one unpleasant night with noisy neighbours, whether that is due to the wall insulation or the inconsiderate guests I can not truly say. The cleaner did try to enter the room without allowing us to put the dog in a safe place. Shortage of doggy bins as it is dog friendly.|Good points. The breakfasts were very nice. Recommend the full Cornish or the pancakes really enjoyable. The staff are friendly on arrival and throughout.|The room was spacious and clean. Yes, there are damp spots and flaking paint, but it didn't interfere with our stay.

Very strange set up and if they had new owners that had a eye for detail and excellent customer services this place would make it good, instead greeted with rubbish customer service and felt expound glass because I wasn’t a golfer or a local, no Prosecco in both rooms when we arrived , and blinds and no shower fixed in room prior to arrival, rush job and room is a old stables ! Not worth the price , luckily it was cheap voucher as I would not being paying the original price! Food was basic and over priced too , the set up is very strange and looks basic but thinking they are the Hilton. Views were greaaat hence one star

After a long day of walking in the rain, we arrived at Cape Club Cornwall…||To be informed that the sauna and pool are down, with no notice. We were informed prior to arrival that the kitchen was down so we planned accordingly, Amelia was so helpful in bringing us what we needed to have our dinner. Next the WiFi was not working in any of the rooms, we tried all different ways of connecting but no luck, this was a real inconvenience because there was no signal either so we kept coming up to be able to look at the map to plan our route for tomorrows 20 mile walk.|Amelia refunded us 20£ and said talk to Steve in the morning.|I’ve spoken to Steve who has claimed we had a voicemail informing us about the pool/sauna closure, we have looked and have simply not.|I mentioned the WiFi too, but he repeated interrupted with ‘not my problem’, it was shocking customer service, I just felt attacked.|At least there is breakfast to look forward to…|pathetic see in photo below|What’s more I didn’t sleep a wink because the paper thin walls.||Honestly it’s just been utterly miserable.|Obviously if we had been properly informed, we would have stayed somewhere else. What we have paid for this calamity is disgraceful.||I’m appalled as you can probably understand, as it’s our holiday.|I’m going to write review on every platform or am happy to sort something out.

This is my second visit to the Cap Cornwall Club for a Saxophone course.||It's a brilliant venue.||The staff are delightful, the accommodation excellent and the food is extremely tasty.||The setting is idyllic, wonderful views and fresh air! Also, dog friendly!

Cape Cornwall Golf Club has so much potential but it’s letting itself down due to poor management and lack of professionalism. ||A few weekends ago my family and I went for a couple of drinks on a Sunday afternoon. We had been told by the staff that there had been a party the night before so watch out for the mess on the way to the patio area. ||I would understand if it was early morning but this was late afternoon on the following day and the place was an absolute mess. ||The party room had not been touched and the patio was littered in discarded cans of beer and glasses from the night before. ||When we’re inside the food looked amazing but it was spoilt by the amount of used plates and glasses left on the tables. At the time there we two members of staff stood behind the bar on their phones with the owners enjoying a drink. ||If any of them had any pride in what they have it would’ve been cleaned up a long time ago. ||It’s such a shame as this place has so much potential but it’s let down by the owners.

We have stayed overnight 08/08/2024 in the Lamorna chalet. ||The young girl at check-in was extremely helpful however, our £130 per night stay can at best be described as disappointing. ||The bathroom in the chalet smelt of mould and damp which effected the bedroom to a point we had to sit with the front door open and sleep with the window wide open. Having raised this with the receptionist she explained it was an issue with the water supplier, she did pour detergent down the drains which helped temporarily, the smell returned overnight.||The stay was disappointing but we put it down to experience until we arrived for breakfast at 8:50am. Here we found that there was little cooked breakfast left and what was presented was either cold, luke warm or congealed. ||Having g mentioned the above at checkout we were given the email of the owner to detail our findings which we did however, we received no response.

Excellent Sunday lunch , gorgeous roast , plenty of delicious vegetables, tasty beef & excellent portion , we had the small roast each which was plenty for us absolute bargain for £13 each & shared churros with raspberry sauce for pudding, again delicious.|Good service & fabulous views.|Thank you 🙏🏻
