I would like to share my experience with the Care Guide Advocate I was assigned to back in early summer. From the very beginning I was in great hands and Myra had my back all the way. Fast forward when my hospital bill finally came, I was in shock. My insurance did not cover much and I was left with a very high number. From the beginning I was proactive and we worked together with all the back and forth letters for months. They denied me any financial assistance. So Myra had more in her tool belt and so did I. We didn’t give up. The final letter was my hardship letter, and 5 days later I received an email from the hospital stating my appeal letter requesting financial help was finally accepted. Praise God🙌🏼 they said I’d hear from them in an email 1-2 days but nothing came. 1.5 weeks later I reached out and she told me I had ZERO balance. WHAT😳 the hospital wrote it all off. This whole time myself and friends prayed for a Devine Intervention and that’s exactly what I got. I would highly recommend a Care Guide Advocate, I don’t know how I could have had this beautiful outcome without her professional down earth and knowledgeable personality and her don’t give up attitude and hard work on my behalf.
