Recent reviews are brainwashed. This charity was not greedy. If you ever went there you would know they were struggling money wise, as charities often are. Its not a zoo, the animals dont have the best enclosures because they had no alternatives and were rescued from worse conditions. We all know this place was brutally shut down just so the land can be used for building. If anyone involved in the persecution of Terry genuinely cared about the animals they would have acted sooner and tried to improve the place rather than obliterating it. Instead they waited and struck a man at the end of his life to destroy everything he worked for and get his land.

I had a fantastic time learning about the different types of Wild cats being cared for here, the tour lasts an hour (must be booked ahead of time) they also offer photography days (not sure how they work as we have yet to go on one)
Definitely want to go back and even volunteer (which they are always looking for)
The site is also home to domestic cats who are very friendly (mostly) and love plenty of fussing.
This is a must for any and all cat lovers, join up £12 for a family pass for a year, donations are always welcome (it is a charity after all) and they even have a farm shop dedicated to cat and animal foods, toys etc.

You'll probably never get closer to Jaguars, Leopards and Pumas ans other cats than this. Don't expect a theme park, this is a guided tour from a dedicated volunteer who knows the animals intimately. Cat Survival Trust us a very low key organisation doing a great job- worth a visit and your support.

I concur with the previous post, Jamil.
20th May '24 - Terrence Moore was found guilty of causing unnecesary suffering to animals on four counts.
According to BBC news, he was told he will be banned from keeping animals for 5 years and pay fines of £10,000. Sentencing was adjourned to 30th May.
No one in their right mind would give this hovel a 5 star rating. One look round the place would turn the stomach of the hardiest vet. A revolting and saddening place.
It has also been reported that accounts haven't been filed with the Charity Commision for 11 years so presumably there is more to follow.

This sanctuary is amazing. They're not only doing amazing work caring for their wild cats and the small selection of other animals, it's also such s lovely place to get up and close in a way that I've not seen before, and yet they also keep everyone safe.

Not a place I would put money into, the cats have no where to roam, stuck in tiny cages and on cement floors. This is not to save them, this is wild cat hoarding. It's mistreatment and abuse! Something should one done!!!

What a great place. Such a treat to see how passionate volunteers are making a difference to the big cats survival. I attended on a Jessops big cats photography experience day yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth doing if it's something you care about or get involved join as a member and then you can make a difference too!

The cat trust takes in large wild cats like Puma, leopards, jaguar from zoos and private collections, and also has several more species.Membership is £14 a year the first visit can be free. Its none profit making as all funds are spent to fed and look after the cats in their care. You will a good visit
