Catherine becketts is not just a centre it's a place we're memories family and faith all come together I can't promise the wether but I promise you be looked after as family not friends I've seen menny but this one qs got my heart so I'm staying as long as you want me to stay everybody body welcome soon to have a upgrade so you feel even more welcomed and its teachers were not just for there skills but much more all volunteers are looked over bye the community at all times becoures it's always been that way you will always come back for more

I’m giving the Catherine Beckett Centre hall 5 stars for being a super great venue. My family has used the hall facility for family get togethers and we’ve had more than 5 since covid. The hall boasts a large kitchen and hall, well equipped with chairs and tables, clean toilets and barbecues are allowed. The hall’s in a central, easily accessible location next to B&M and has great parking. The hall coordinator Chris is an exceptional host and we’ve never felt more at home using the centre, he’s also just a phone call away if there are any issues. Keep up the great work Chris, We will be coming back again!!

We used the centre today for the first time for our collaborative event with Mend & Preston Muslim Forum. Chris is a great host and helped us to set up which was really helpful. The kitchen was spotless! And the facilities were great for us to have a successful event . Thank you Chris and keep up the amazing work . We will be back again soon 😊 if you need a venue, then don’t think twice and book this fab community centre.

I have used this venue for several important events this year alone and the experience has been exceptional. Chris has repeatedly demonstrated the spirit of leadership, care, companssion, communal spirit and high level of service. He is very prompt in responding to calls and chats, very clear in his communication, very timely and reassuringly reliable.
Passion and love for his job is visibly apparent and he is very humble.
He went out of his way to help make venue available at a time that we had lost hope in finding any affordable nice venue.
I will recommend him and the venue always.

Perfect venue for small occasions with a kitchen and parking. They also have good community events. Kids have used the nursery and they enjoyed their time there. Very good place for the community as a whole. Chris does an awesome job managing and facilitating the venue.

I have been involved with Beckett's all my life, from the nursery to the regular events like car boots and Halloween parties it used to regularly have - throughout this time I got to spend time with both my amazing family and community.

I don't believe Beckett's would still be here without the incredible people who have worked and are still working there, such as the manager Chris who has earnestly provided the centre with beautiful memories and given the community a place to connect with each other - he is by far the most diligent and selfless manager I have had the joy of knowing. He has never once turned his back on this centre or its community and yet people have undervalued the work and time he has invested to keep the centre going.

Another selfless member is Sue who has continued time and time again to look after this centre and attempt to maintain connections with the community, she has played a major role in all the events whether she is behind the scenes or physically partaking in the events - Sue has devoted her life to this centre and it would be an incredible loss if her or the manager ever left Beckett's.

Thank you both for the amazing times and memories you have provided, this centre will always remain dear to me and I hope you both continue the great work ❤️

Not only was I one of the first children to attended this nursery when it first opened 20 years ago but I have had many birthday parties and family gathering here. The centre has always been clean and presentable every-time I’ve been and I couldn’t fault it in anyway. The manager Chris (my uncle) is always there for any help needed and he is amazing at what he does. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore! Easily 5 star!!!

Catherine Beckett is a lovely venue for family gatherings and celebrations. My family and I have been using it for the past 16 years.
It has a lovely, well kept, garden that’s great for BBQs and bouncy castles!
It has other useful amenities; a kitchen, a car park and clean toilets.
Chris, the gentleman who manages the centre, is a kind soul who’s always friendly and helpful.
