I've called this organization more than 30 times. I've left multiple messages explaining my problem/situation. I've been waiting weeks, many weeks, and no one can take the time to call me back. Unfortunately, LCEC screwed up our electic bill when FPL raised their rates. My husband & I have lived there for over 20 years. Our highest electric bill was almost $400. Nothing had changed so we were SHOCKED when our September 2022 bill was $581, and October 2022 was $627! We were outraged. We don't have that kind of money so they shut our power off. We haven't had power for some time. I can't seem to get anyone to help me. Catholic Charities was recommended by a friend who told me they were helping people pay their rents for up to one year, but they don't seem to want to help me, even though what I need isn't a year's worth of rent. I'm very disappointed, and have no idea what to do. No one will help me. It's very frustrating...

Do not give them your personal information, ID or SS#, these places basically steal your identity, they give your SS# to the government and receive a check each month to feed you. Then they get the free food from the government, which is poison, that is meant to injure your children. Don't share your SS# with anyone! Don't feed their poison to children or pets! Its a shame that the richest organization in the world, is stooping to stealing people's identity to make money, like crackheads. Crackheads are actually nicer and have an excuse. What is theirs?

They helped me out very quickly and efficiently. And I was extremely grateful for all that they did. And out of all of the places that I have needed assistance from they were the quickest most efficient and easiest to deal with so far!
