My grateful thanks to Aileen Harper who worked tirelessly on my behalf to spotlight inappropriate billing on the part of the City of La Habra Fire Department. Because of Ms Harper's tireless efforts, this was brought to the attention of Anna Gorman, Senior Correspondent of Kaiser Health News, who wrote an excellent article published Sunday, January 31, in the Orange County Register's Business Section hi-lighting my concerns. As an 85 year old senior, I am truly grateful for those in the public sector who are willing to go the proverbial extra mile to fight for those of us who are powerless on our own.
