Ideally charities like CentrePoint wouldn't be needed but they play an important role in the community. I've had very pleasant interactions with staff and volunteers both in person and via email. They always acknowledge donations too which is nice as not all charities do that. Get involved or donate if you can, there is a regularly updated list of items they need on their website

Good charity shop to look around, there is mostly clothes but there is a small amount of furniture. Toys, bric a brac, jewellery etc, so if you are looking for a bargain, I recommend taking look.
