Peaceful and quiet, this seldom-visited meadow is partially mown and partially wild. Occasional visitors seem to be mostly dog walkers passing through. There's a couple of benches to sit on and a display sign with a guide to help you identify the wild flowers. Spring is the best time to visit, but so is summer - autumn and winter aren't bad either.

So pretty! The canal, the nature, the barges going through the lock. Everything you could want from a country walk. Even a lovely pub , the Boatyard, to finish off.
