My father was the first resident when the home opened in 2022. He was welcomed by all the staff when he arrived and for the first week or two he had the undivided attention of all the carers. Two years on and with some 70 odd residents now it amazingly feels like he still has that same level of care. Their philosophy is quite unusual in that each resident has their own family of carers who know and understand them, far better than at any other care home we've experienced. The quality and amount of activities is epic. He is now 100 years old and fitter than when he arrived; a testament to the quality of the place. From top to bottom Charrington Manor has the best staff, the best environment and the best care. We couldn't recommend it highly enough.

The reception staff are always so helpful and kind. And I have always found them smiling. Form admin and management everyone is willing to help. The care home is nice. They have nice activities daily and the residents likes joining. I highly recommend.

A home they say is a place where peace resides and working in Charrington Manor clearly shows this. From the workers whose daily attributes shows the uniqueness of embracing diversity, the management's open door and attention to standard, the residents and their families to the serenity of the home and environment clearly indicates this home understands what it takes to give older people more reasons to enjoy fulfilled lives. My 90 year old mother has recently moved to Charrington Manor from another local care home. From our very first visit, we realised this this was a very special home….. and it DOES feel like a family home. Residents on the “independent living” ground floor are encouraged to maintain as much independence as they need, and are gently supported by staff as and when needed. There is a very lively buzz about the place and the wonderful staff are always around. But more than that…… they always make us feel welcome whenever we visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending Charrington Manor.

I joined Charrington Manor team from day one, we worked hard together to prepare for our first resident, i remember how excited we were to meet our first resident, now we had more than 70 residents in our home, I am very proud to be part of the team and we are working hard together to make our residents happy and feel like they are in their own home, the most important for me is I can balance my family life and work.

The design of the building is brilliant for residents with mobility problems, amenities are excellent the level of care we cannot praise high enough, all the homemakers (carers) nursing and management staff are absolutely amazing the food is second to none, overall we very impressed.
