My kids love the sensory room at charter house. We can't visit that often as it is a bit pricey, but the staff are lovely and the centre and sensory room are very clean and well taken care of. It's the only place we can visit in the area where I know my kids are safe and able to play without worry. With both of them being autistic we always struggle to find places we can go that are safe for them, so for us this a valuable resource. It's just a shame we can't book it as regularly as we'd like to.

What a great new facility! providing day care elderly people with dementia and people with learning disabilities.
Also one of the best sensory rooms ive see.

Such a fantastic place. All the staff are so experienced and so welcoming. They have great facilities and the new sensory room is amazing! Paid a visit to the Saturday cafe last week, very yummy scones and cake! Can't recommend enough.

Excellent sensory centre for our disabled son he absolutely loves it, always clean and tidy and helpful staff on hand.
Different coloured selectable light shows and led wall very good for special needs kids. Good selection of music playing in the background too. 👍

Lovely non judgemental atmosphere! The home made scones and cakes are the best. My daughter is 4 years old with complex needs and this is her favourite place! The sensory room is 5.00 for half hour and its better than any of the local ones we have been to. My daughter is not expected to behave in any way and is always made comfortable. Caring staff, clean place and lots to do! The best place to be if you need some respite. Grab yourself a hotdrink and cake whilst the kids play!!

This little charity run centre relies on volunteers and businesses alike to support & donate, I was in a tight spot just recently and they delivered to me a meal each day whilst I waited for the result of my latest DWP assessment for benefit renewal. Lovely people, good meals and even supporting the parents that have their children at home supposedly receiving free school meals vouchers for shopping, these guys are making up packed lunches for those children. Damned the government & their weird way of doing things!!!

Amazing place, staff very friendly and attentive, the sensory room is excellent with lots of space and different sensory experiences to explore, tracking hoist in sensory room and toilets. Lots going on all the time, would recommend.
