My dad has been a recent resident at Chase Park Care Home, just to say there are some truly dedicated staff there. The lead nurse Alina was absolutely brilliant with dad - professional, amiable caring, and dedicated.. I couldn't have wished for anyone better.
Also, the family liaison officer was warm, approachable, and has a terrific rapport with service users as well as family, which is imperative in this kind of work.
I personally found most of the staff were lovely, kind and caring. Among them Christine, Wendy,Tracey, Sindu Ramats to mention but a few.
A special mention to the household staff especially Ann and Liz who always welcomed us warmly and always had a good listening ear.

Chase Park has some wonderful staff but has had a lot of changes lately & some very good staff have left. Jane will be a huge miss, always approachable & excellent in her role, both with residents & families. Marion, family liaison is an absolute asset & I would be lost without her. Alina, the clinical lead & the nursing staff are amazing & very β€œon the ball”. Any medical issue has been dealt with swiftly, they always listens to any concerns & come up with a plan to resolve any issue. Therapy staff are amazing & can be very flexible in the timing of sessions. However, I do have concerns about changes with staffing levels & agency workers. Consistency, communication & knowledge are vital to someone with a brain injury. On the whole I am happy with the care my husband receives but am a bit apprehensive on what lies ahead.

My dad has been a resident here for many years. This care home has wonderful surroundings and facilities, and really lovely staff. They are professional, well-trained, attentive and caring. One can tell this just by the way they speak to both the residents and their relatives/friends. It is reassuring to know that your loved one is being taken care of as well as they do here. Thank you to everyone and a special thanks to Andy and Lee!

Some very hard working staff & lovely & friendly atmosphere & all dedicated to clients needs. 😊 I don't normally write reviews but credit where it's due.. my husband is in there & has spent a lot of time in c park over the years but I can honestly say hand on heart I'm a lot happier as the improvements these past months have been great. Nothing is too much trouble. I've gave 4 stars as it's still improving & things take time to change, and I'm sure will continue to do so.... well done to all πŸ‘much appreciated.

A little piece of secluded heaven in a small village to play bowls, meditate, chat with friendly bowlers who are always there to encourage anyone who would like to take up the sport and maybe join the club

I call into the cafe here regularly as it's open to the public. The staff are lovely. They make the best healthiest quiche I've ever tasted. (without pastry) Coffee is perfect. Pleasant outside seating area and my little dog is always made very welcome. Ideal location next to the entrance into Whickham Park. Toilets on site..wheelchair accessible.

I like loved living here and there is some great caring staff but there are too many bosses and not enough indians . The night staff are brilliant the food is not to my liking but if you like peppers or fast food you would like it there is a cafe and gym and pool on site the surroundings is beautiful the gardner is a brilliant gardener . I used to go to whickham park which also called chase park but has nothing to do with the home one think if your relative complains please believe them as they look after there staff

Some members of the care team are good and could be very good with the right managerial support and training, others ought to consider a career change. Management is very poor, as are standards of cleanliness, nutrition and communication with both relatives and residents. Concerns raised are barely acknowledged let alone dealt with appropriately. The overuse of agency staff has a detrimental effect on the whole place. Residents are under stimulated, have few activities or resources to make their lives of interest. The place is a depressing, soul destroying one and I wish I had never set eyes upon it let alone had to have personal dealings with it.
