If you’re a female telling your story and is in the room with DETECTIVE MCCLAY!! Make sure you have a man with you or a lady witness! Because he would make you feel uncomfortable by lying on you! Nothing was done about my case! He hasn’t reached out to me it’s been at least 3 years! If you sexualized me from my childhood just say so sick man!!! When I was explaining my story I would say “you know” now this man don’t know me from a can of paint! He had the nerve to tell me “what you’re not going to do is come in here and insult me” I said oh I’m sorry what did I say?! Well guess what y’all ?! He couldn’t say nothing! Want to know why?! Because I’ve never said nothing towards him! Now how did you get insulted over words that never passed my lips?!!! I’m not here speaking out against you, so why get offended! Well in the psychological world… it’s called A GUILTY Consciousness!! So thanks for giving me the heads up on how you really treat women behind closed doors! When I tell you I have been suffering from anxiety since that day, it’s not even funny! All of you will reap what you sow! Look me up by my name because you will remember me sir! I won’t stop until I get the justice I deserve!!! Also he didn’t even offer a female to be in the room with me due to what I was giving my statement about, to ensure I was comfortable. He’s dark skinned heavy set and very passively aggressive!

I had a horrible experience here. Detective Lisa Stiglich was in charge of my case. She lacked proper communication and it took me over three months to reschedule my appointment with her and she gaslit me by saying there was a death in her family. I’ve left her voicemails and after a ridiculous phone tagging incident, we managed to schedule an appointment. When I arrived at this location, I kept calling her to let me in and she never answered. There was no one at the front door to buzz you in. An employee who parked his car in the parking lot was the one who let me inside the building. This isn’t even the worst part of my experience. I had my Pastor involved in my case because my abuser not only abused me at home but also at my church. My Pastor filed a report and this upset Detective Lisa Stiglich greatly. She called me and berated me on the phone, saying that I needed to act like a woman and barely allowed me to speak. She said getting my Pastor involved jeopardized my case, which made no sense to me because he reported a crime that happened there. I’ve been very patient with her and proper but this person has been very cold, inconsiderate, and demeaning towards me. I haven’t heard from her in over a year and our last conversation was via email, which felt like she was siding with my abuser. I can tell based on her actions that she had no intentions of helping me with my case. Please avoid interacting with her at all cost especially if you’re a minority. I was treated very poorly and humiliated by this experience.

- [ ] Unprofessional at best. Did not speak professional at all or provide any information. I got more information from the police than from DCfS. They will stress they have 60 days to complete a investigation, 40 days in and still no conclusion , Police closed their case 4 weeks ago. They are really not investigating anything when it’s nothing to investigate. The Case Worker I Dealt with Joyce Braithwait was terrible, Needs more training and to take the job serious and not move at pace for something that only takes a week instead of waiting until the 60th day. Called in at least 4 times and never had updates. One lady hung up the phone from the call center on Damen, They also waited until the 59th day to speak to two people on my character. Don’t Know how this is even up to standards ,Now i have to hired a lawyer and appeal a Decision with no facts or anything. Really A Joke If you have to deal with them. My Cousin is Dcfs Worker and owns her own clinic in Detroit and was shocked about how they conduct business here in DCFS.

they ordered hundreds of dollars worth of food from a bakery that was almost half an hour away in Chicago traffic, and left a $0 tip.
