My name is Kendall, I would like to thank this place for making my family great again. When I fell they helped me figure it out to become a better parent then before and taught me so many positive ways for different situations. I really do appreciate Dana M Hunter. She has made me realize as well as the other people I was working with that I am a wonderful person, that I just need to be stable mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically to care for my children. They have taught me to always except help when it is offered. They have taught me boundaries on when I should say no in a positive manner. They have taught me different and positive disapline for my children as toddlers. They have helped me get through times that we're tough. Most of all they have shown me they are there to help to put me back in a good and stable spot mindfully, emotionally, financially and physically. I used to think they were against me and now I would have to say they have helped me come so far in just a few months over a year and now I know they are there to help me more then anything. I have been told I have come so far throughout that time. I am so happy and very proud of who I am as a person, a mother and a women.

This place is biased to women only. Cindy Dean knows nothing about my case, never even stepped foot in my house nor has met me or my daughter and yet is trying to take custody of my daughter from me simply because she doesn't like me! I've had full custody since she was six months old and now she's two and a half and she's trying to give custody to her mom who's been gone over half our daughter's life! Disgusting! This place needs shut down!

Child Advocates works hard for the children they serve. As a volunteer CASA I am provided with all the training and support needed to do my job well. When I have questions or concerns I can always get the guidance necessary to proceed appropriately.

Being a volunteer is so rewarding. Being able to assist a child as they navigate their way through this very confusing and emotional time of their life brings the volunteer joy. And Child Advocates never lets you forget how much they appreciate you and your effort.

This place has a contract with the Marion Co courts and does not do the right thing for children. They do not hold PhDs and do not listen to PhD recommendations or those of their Domestic Relations Counseling Bureau ran by a LCSW. They placed my children with a parent with a criminal history of 2 DUIs and knew of his driving with them w/o a license & his girlfriend also with a DUI and her children with drug histories of drug paraphernalia living with my children. They are aware of custodial parent withholding parenting time and not following court orders and do nothing. They simply target one side based on their personal like or dislike of you not any set of uniform parenting standards! They need shut down like yesterday!!

Sometimes things don't work out the way u intend or want them to. It's important to hold yourself accountable for mistakes made an grow an strive for better. Everyone I came in contact with treated me with respect and even a bit of compassion. I appreciate the time tht everyone put into helping the difficult matter at hand. It's clear the goal is to help with everyone's situation, not make it more difficult. Unfortunately I cld see some ppl being disrespectful to staff here just out of bitterness or anger. They do not deserve to be disrespected; they are there, willing to help with the difficult situation they did not create. I jus want to say thank you to everyone involved in my situation, I appreciate it greatly.

Child Advocates is very supportive of volunteers, making sure they know how to advocate for the children whose cases are assigned to them. I have learned and grown so much from my time as a volunteer here.

These people don't care about the BEST interest of your child like they claim! They investigate and research nothing and make decisions on whom they like more, they're biased and prejudice only the women!
