They told lies to keep me away from my mom. Told the judge I said things that I never said. They are helping cps steal kids from their family to make money. My baby brother died in foster care and they blamed it on my mom. My attorney from here helped cps lie so they wouldn't get in trouble for what they did to my baby brother. Then she helped them steal me over it. They do everything for money they don't care about kids.

These are the assigned attorneys working for CPS and the courts. You will never ever get anyone from this Law Firm to fight for the child's best interests only the best interests of the county. They do not object to anything in court so you have no appealable issues, they help County Council during hearings, they submit on the petition and the detention hearing report making everything that the social worker says is true and unappealable. These are attorneys that cannot get jobs anywhere else because everyone else knows how Shady they are. Ineffective assistance of counsel is putting it lightly. There really needs to be accountability in the juvenile dependency system not CPS you can reform them all day long and they're only going to put fancy words into their rules and regulations and programs when it's the courts that let them get away with everything that they get away with. And that is feeling people's children for federal funding. It's a racket it's corruption and human trafficking literally.

I've interacted with one attorney that was nice and professional in the 5 years I've been fostering,, dealing with rude attorneys and smart, remarks
and antics, they claim to have the Children's best interests at heart, but that's not always the case with some of these Attorneys.
I know of a Attorney who stood in for the child's actual Attorney, who at a court hearing asked my husband and I if we had our own attorney, when we stated " No, that we didn't "... he answered"Good" because he knew that they and County had done us shady.

I'm a foster parent, and the CAG have really been amazing at looking out for the interests of the children in my care, as well as taking any concerns seriously.

The first attorney we had was an incredible advocate for our foster child. The second one was subpar and the lack of communication by the office with our family was shameful.
