Shocking to say the least. These people are inaccessible in a time of need. Messages left and never responded. Impossible to contact. Refusal to investigate the most basic and obvious avenues of information. Little time spent with relevant people. Presumptuous, uneducated, inexperienced and non resourceful staff leading to detrimental outcomes. No accountability leading to the destruction of families.

This (social worker vanessa Hastings )!!!!!! she’s absolutely amazing she’s been honest with us from the beginning and been fair and respectful and very caring and polite, if you need social for anything in Peterborough I would always recommend (VANESSA HASTINGS 👌👍 don’t waste your time with anyone else in that team as theirs a lot of bad reports on this webpage about them…….

I had a terrible experience with Peterborough children's social services.
They lie, they twist things and what made it even worse for me was that they work as a team to cover for each other. This includes the guardian, the health visitor and mental health services.
I will never get over the stress and anxiety over what they did to my family and truly hope that someday forced adoption is stopped.
Until I’d experienced it first hand, I had no idea of the depths that these people would go to. Those very people who are supposed to help a family will try to divide, conquer, and lie just to ultimately tear a family apart. I have no idea how these social workers sleep at night.
I hope someday my children find me and I can show them every document that proves the lies that they told. This is the only thing that keeps me going.

I had my ex partner make false allegations against myself and 2 his two children.
So I had a lady who came out which was absolutely lovely (no names mentioned) she totally understood what had happened and I showed her proof from messages that this allegation was false! And she was on my side from day 1! dealt with it in a perfect manner and she was lovely to my two boys.
No bad experience here, it’s actually made me want to become a social worker how they work and experience different environments etc...
But the lady was absolutely lovely and friendly throughout! They have to just do there job and make sure the children are safe at home, so I showed her my children were absolutely perfect!

They don’t have concerns if they no the children are living in a good environment with healthy parents and there everyday needs are met with loving parents!

Absolutely useless, doing nothing at all, telling pack of lies and absorbing governments money instead of giving help where needed. Should be dissolved. Why to waste public money for such a service ? Called 4times- zero actions

Tell you they will keep in contact regarding me and my partner taking a vulnerable person into our home but because said person now has a roof over her head they totally ignore the situation. Absolutely appalling

They lie, let ignore you and they put ur child with the wrong people. Rude on the phone, absolutely poor. Wouldnt let social services in charge of a hamster. Let alone a childs needs.
