Two stars because of the housing officer that housed me, her name is Theresa and was wonderful.. the negative rating is because of the last housing officer who came after Theresa named Tracey Bradbeer and her uppity manager who was full of herself right from the start of my complaint. They think its ok to misinform or part inform tenants and throw away wanted items knowing tenants do not always know the full ins and outs of ending a tenancy and exceptional circumstances like falling very ill DO happen - especially in the winter!! I kept a clean rent and council tax account, never fell into arrears of any kind over the 4 years i lived there. Glad to not have them as a landlord anymore

Trying to get repairs done. Is very stressful. You are made to jump through hoops. They expect you to replace door handles at your own expense. My smoke detectors were 5 years out of date when I checked them. This was the only time they came quickly.

My mum and I are living in a building owned by CHS group. Since the middle of last year we have been trying to get them to plaster our house. Coming up for now 4 weeks ago, we were told that we would have to wait 2 weeks before they could start the job. We are still waiting almost 4 weeks later after they said they would start. Every time we phone CHS group to ask when they will start, they tell us they are looking into it and they never get back to us. These are the conditions they are expecting us to live in while they decide whether or not to fix our home

The most amateurish company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They simply show no interest in their clients and the people working there would be better served being used as cannon fodder on the Ukrainian front lines.

Shocking bought shared house off of them and do not honour the defect repairing process and have fixed nothing AVOID at all costs I have had to go to the housing ombudsman now to force their hand

Absolutely fantastic experience, they provide an exemplary service to tenants and actually care about each person they deal with. Great attention to detail, fast and efficient service and always a follow up to see if you're happy with what's been done. I'm very lucky to be a tenant, after renting privately for years I was expecting the same standard of service as that which I've experienced in the private sector, but the people at CHS have been nothing short of outstanding. I can't recommend them enough!

This company lie to tenants when they surveyor properties for repairs and use cowboy companies for doing repairs stay away from CHS properties as put rents up but don't do any repairs they rip tenants of out of their money do not touch their properties with a barge pole their staff do nothing but lie to their tenants and if you manage to get them out for a repair they damage more of tenant properties and belongings they can't do a job without creating another job which needs repairs watch out for their repair company Fosters bunch of cowboys they don't like doing jobs over cambridge way time to get ridged of Fosters and their other cowboys company called Clearview both companies are cowboys

Honestly the worst organisation I have had the displeasure of dealing with
The state they leave the tenants homes is illegal and a health risk
Staff are rude,ignorant, lack Basic communication skills.. Have no empathy.
I wouldn't leave a pet rock in their care.
If I could give lower I would.. Everything u dread in a organisation
