We stayed for three nights as we were attending a wedding in the centre of Sheffield.basic room with everything we needed, no tv but free internet meant I watched TV on my iPad. Comfy bed, shower had good pressure and loads of hot water. Room and cafe very clean. Breakfast was fine for me, my partner upgraded to a full English which was great. Plenty of free parking in a safe area. Town centre within 15 minute walk. Outside area to sit in and alcohol to purchase in the evening. 24 hour reception.
Staff were all lovely, so helpful and friendly. I was able to put my insulin in the fridge. If you want a clean basic room in a friendly environment I would absolutely recommend.

The Wilson Carlisle Centre is actually two parts of the same organisation. The biggest part is the religious learning and resources centre including well priced accommodation, computer and library facilities and conference rooms. The second part is the cafe and restaurant which is also open to the public. Here you can get absolutely fantastic food and drinks at really good prices. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the place is warm and cosy, with dining tables and comfy sofas & coffee tables.

The two parts are completely separate and you don't need to be part of the centre or be of religious persuasion to visit the Café.

Give the daily special a try. You won't be disappointed. Vegetarian option always available on the special. ?
