Had an amazing time at City Life Church Portsmouth for the Gateway Conference 2025. I had the privilege of delivering a session on brain health, really grateful for the opportunity to share insights to help people look after their brain and mental wellbeing 🧠

I came to this church after pandemic when we attended City Vision Conference. Our CEO introduced us to Pastor Daniel Harman.Me and my family attended on and off but the most important thing that I can remember about City Life Church is the fervent prayers.

I remembered that when I faced one biggest challenge about my health . Pastor Daniel Harman and His Dad Pastor William Harman and Mum Susan Harman and some other leaders of the church prayed for me fervently.

The culture and authentic care of this church always touches my heart.I believe that this church is built and founded by God , to take care the broken world most especially in Portsmouth . To guide , direct and heal people towards Jesus with hope here earth and beyond eternity .❤️🙏🌈

I've been visiting CLC for different events for about 2 and half years and I joined the CLC family early 2024.

I've visited a number of churches over the years, but for me this one has come out top when it comes to love, inclusion, encouragement, and sound biblical teaching.

It is a healthy church environment, where everyone is welcome to come as they are. You will be loved, and encouraged to reach your full potential according to the plans God has for your life.

I highly recommend this church, whatever stage in life you are at.

Pastors Daniel and Laura Harman are very Apostolic in their approach to ministry - a young couple with three children - lots of experience and exceptional wisdom.
A Church full of love- Christ Centred followers-who walk out their faith daily-love on all who enter those doors-whose joy peace and serenity in the Lord can be tangibly experienced………

An amazing family church where I feel right at home. The pastors are great and I just love how friendly and welcoming everyone is. They love Jesus and they love the Word, and I can’t recommend City Life Church enough for anyone that is looking for a church home.

Warm welcome. Church that serves local community, for example a bereavement support group is available there.

Praying or Preying?

It is alleged that this charity is not run according to the Charity Governance Code, Charity Commission guidance, and has no published safeguarding policies.

Recently filed accounts at the Charity Commission for 2023 show a loss of approx £50k, income down by over 25%, and a reduction in cash reserves in excess of 75%, from £77k to £20k. None of this warrants a mention in the official trustees' financial review.

There are no safeguarding policies or contact details published on their website or available to members of the public.

An organisation which was run by and for the benefit of its membership is now run by a very small group of trustees. Half of the trustees have served for many years with no publicly available information on how they may, or may not, have been re-elected.

The trustees are Kevin Hussey, Steven Swales, Laura Harman and Daniel Harman. The Charity Commission have stated "We have issued the trustees with regulatory advice and guidance."
