Clymping Dog Sanctuary - Arundel

A friend of mine told me about this sanctuary to be able to walk the doggies. We went today for the first time - Sunday February 23rd. We called at 10:00am and they said they had a doggie that we could take out. We went along and were introduced to Pip… what an absolute DELIGHT of a dog. So well behaved, loved being outside exploring and getting rewarded with a treat for his efforts! Was a bit muddy so glad we wore wellie boots - Pip didn’t mind!! The sanctuary is solely run on volunteers and they do such a great job. We will be making a donation and DEFINITELY be returning to walk a pup… hopefully we will be lucky enough to be matched again with Pip! 🐶🦴🐾

Staff were super nice and really helpful, we adopted a dog from them very recently and are over the moon with her!

They offered to give us food and doggie accessories on adoption too but we had already spoilt our new girl rotten!

A great place to get a friend for a walk. I have been wanting a dog for a long time but there would be no one at home to look after it, so I come here every couple of weeks. It's great to meet all of the dogs and see them being adopted. The staff are great as well. I love this place so much!

I have had three dogs from Clymping Dog Sanctuary over three decades. They are an important lifeline for stray and unwanted dogs. This is my latest adoptee on holiday in the Peak District this week. The early days of our journey together were not easy but Clymping were there to support us , and giving up was never on the cards. This dog is incredible in so many ways and we are justifiably proud of him. This week he has ridden in a cable car and been deep underground in a cavern with us. Without Clymping his future could have been very different indeed. I would highly recommend them if you are interested in adopting a rescue dog.

Fantastic people. My daughter wanted to spend her 9th birthday with the dogs she got treats for the dog.
Team there we ellecent wish I could give more than 5 stars.

So we went back today me my wife daughter and son to take Bernie out for a walk. All I can say my family and the team had a great laugh after seeing covered in mud.

Lovely place and people. We went in to look at the dogs, and saw a lurcher we liked the look of. We were able to play ball with her, and then take her over the road to a big field to walk her round, where we found out how well she walked on the lead. It was so nice to be able to see the dog, and not just look online, pay to adopt the dog, sight unseen, on a lot of the other dog places. When we got back and spoke to the girls that worked there, they told us everything they knew about her, so we decided to put a deposit down and took her home for a 5 day trial to see how we got on with each other, and after the 5 days, we decided to keep her. The girls gave us food and a lead and collar to take her home with, and said that we could always ring the sanctuary or go in when open if we needed any advice. From start to finish, from the people that worked there and the owner, it was a really great experience. Would definitely recommend this place, they all seem to know what they are doing, and love all the animals.
