I've had a bad few months distress /depression with the loss of my sister and the battle against prostate cancer, to which I've now thankfully been cleared of .I have had plenty of support from family and friends. But I can't thank colne cidetal enough for all of their support to me. I started going to citadel a good few months ago probably a year now. I've never been to a more relaxing and safe place to have a coffee and a chat. Hayley the manager introduced me to Jo a Councillor at the centre. They have helped me tremendously with my journey .many many thanks to colne cidetal and all of the amazing staff for all their support 👏

Colne Citadel as helped me through a tough period in my life. They have a variety of services and groups that cater for people and children of all ages. They have a cafe on site serving all kinds of refreshments, light bites and a specials main meal at affordable prices. There are counselling services, men & women’s groups to help one another and a food bank. I would definitely recommend this community hub as it is non judgmental, confidentiality is paramount and welcoming to all.

Lovely place, we attended for Curry Event held, really warm welcome by all staff Inc Hayley, after our meal we were also shown round the building & further discussions about lot's of various other groups/councelling available to members of the public, also young child councelling sessions take place, lot's available, or can sign post with other agencies, a great place for the community. Very happy with our visit & very informative too, thank you!

I recently came here with my brother in relation to substance use. I met with a couple of people who left a lasting impression on myself. It also gave me the opportunity to talk to someone about the effects on myself. My brother met with a man who is working through his addiction issues. I feel the best people to learn from are those with lived experience. Its early days for my brother but something changed in him that day and I know its down to the openness and frank honesty of the people who attend this project. Its a fantastic service and I wish we had a facility in Rochdale.
I love the fact that everyone meets regardless of their background and can sit and enjoy food together. services could learn a lot from this place.
Thanks to each and everyone of you that took time to speak to me and my brother.
