Everything about this facility is fantastic. Accommodation, food, and above all the staff, from the cleaning staff to the most senior staff, absolutely fantastic 😀

The notion that this place supports Veterans’ Mental Health is a sad joke. They’ll proudly tell you when you contact them that they’re not a crisis service, and can’t help you with any MH issues that didn’t develop during Operational Service (so tough luck if you’ve developed any issues since then or as a result). They’ll then judge you / your lifestyle and write a nice letter to your GP documenting all of that before telling you to get lost whilst offering no help. Frankly seems like a scam designed to take money from the well intentioned public and pay themselves nice fat salaries

An absolutely fantastic place!!
This place has actually saved my life. The staff are amazing, that take real care of the Vets and are always there when needed. The Occy Health room is fully fitted out to help Veterans find a hobby and always there to lend a hand and even get professionals in to coach if required.
There are also clubs and a British Legion clinic to help Vets with every aspect of life, from Benefits to housing to welfare, they cover it all.
If you are able to, please donate or offer to help, Combat Stress need our help to, so they can carry on helping our Veterans.

I have a very close friend who is being treated here. I have visited him twice and can see the good it is doing. It's a very humbling place to visit. To see the pain on the veterans faces. But to see the ama work the staff do, and the help it give the guys. Hang on in there to all the veterans you can do it.

Facilities to support war veterans who have left the service. Supportive staff, clean facilities. Tea/coffee making facilities. About £8.00 taxi fare to station.
