I have been very fortunate to have received help, support and mindful therapy from Oasis House at Compassion in Action. All the staff are amazing especially Kerry & Elisha and of course the amazing Pam Gilligan. Their support, kindness and generosity continue to overwhelming me and it’s like being part of a big family. I can not praise these people and all who are involved in this wonderful charity enough. Thank you so much to Pam, Kerry and all the amazing staff. Really enjoyed my stay at Oasis House. I don't want to leave! What wonderful, compassionate, caring people you really are. I came in a broken woman with no structure to my days. With your help, support and guidance I shall be leaving a different woman. All because of you! The words thank you do not come close to what I want to say too you all. Not all Angels have wings! You will all carry a very special place in my heart and can't wait to come see you all on Welcome Wednesdays. 😘 Love to you all, I sure am going to miss you.

There was no compassion when I went there. Sent away in a time of need because counsellor was having her lunch. I stood there crying whilst she watched me though her glass office ! Asked me if I was suicidal to which I answered yes. Still did nothing just sent me away and told me to ring doctor. Which with the state I was in was not in my capability. Disgusted with the way I was treated. Working at a hospital myself there has been many a time I have missed my lunch to help someone in need.
