Campsite was nice and clean, easily accessible to the town centre! 5/10 min walk from restaurants and pubs. Great place for plenty of walks. The people at the campsite were very helpful. The only thing that let it down was that there was a football team who were playing on the field next to where you camp and were purposely booting the ball at our car. When we asked them if they could be careful, they were really rude. This was as we turned up, which didn’t give the best first impression. Other than this, I would come back!

Great location, stayed in motor home quite expensive at £14.50 per person but you have use of showers and toilets 24/7 washing up facilities and fresh water and club house if you fancy a pint

Cheapest place to park in village £5 all day (£6 from April).
Bar open Friday-Sunday with great drink prices.
Only place in village with Sky Sports, free pool and darts, dog friendly, beautiful views

Camped for a couple of days with Colleagues and Challenge The Wild.

Great facilities, showers and toilets were clean. Plenty of outdoor sockets to quickly charge our phones.

Great place to park, plenty of parking for a decent price, plus you can stay overnight if you want to
Hard standing car park for about 80 cars, with a 2 minute walk into Coniston, easy walk if heading for the fells around Coniston
£5 for the day, so not a rip off compared to some private car parking companies

The venue is in a good location with great views of the surrounding Crags and a lovely little stream following nearby. A tranquil and picturesque place, a five minute walk to Coniston Water and on the edge of Coniston Village. The venue field is great for camping whilst the building has good changing room, toilet and shower facilities as well as a gym though these could do with better upkeep and a slight improvements in cleaning procedures.

A kitchen and food storage area exists behind the bar section which makes the place handy if you are camping there and fancy some hot food or for a wedding celebration as the bar area is quite spacious and can accomodate a good number of people. A large marquee can also be setup on the field area.

Oli, the caretaker of the venue, is a first class gent, always on hand to assist and share a laugh with. A venue recommended for those looking to camp in the area, have a wedding reception or just to relax for a few hours whilst enjoying the beautiful views.

This was an absolutely amazing stay, very cheap and with great facilties. Staff was super helpful and friendly, I loved staying here. Very close to some walks in the mountains as well, great location. I'd come back for sure.
