Dad loved his Friday visits to the Gloucester group. Unfortunately they do not do any social activities outside of the venue due to no minibus. Such a shame as I am sure Dad and the others would have enjoyed them.

I can’t praise Crossroads highly enough. The staff are lovely, cheerful and helpful and make such a difference when they come. The Active Living Group take the elderly and people with dementia on lovely trips to garden centres and meals which gives them a welcome break from their four walls.

The staff at Crossroads are the most caring you could wish to meet. They treat all their elderly clients with great respect and wonderful kindness. My family member absolutely loves her days spent at Crossroads and can't wait to get there every week. They do lovely activities with them and take them out on great outings once a month. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I wanted to pass on my feelings of the Crossroads Day Centre and what a lovely inviting place it is. In the short time I have been visiting to support new attendees or to come in as a professional to seek advice of what’s available through crossroads. It stands out that it is a great place staff are always welcoming to myself and attendees putting people at ease and catering for individuals needs on a 1-1 or in a group environment. It is clear staff are well trained and have given me some helpful tips too. Crossroads offer a wide range of support ladies/men’s lunch. Befriending and when I been in peoples homes in the community where Crossroads staff are also working it all shows consistency of care. I don’t think I have ever visited such a lovely environment attendees all are clearly happy to be there and enjoy lots of fun, laughter, regular smiles and tea! I would be happy for a relative of mine to attend Crossroads

This service has given my daughter her own feeling of independence from us as parents, it is encouraging her to be more sociable and learning life skills along the way, such as road and stranger safety and communicating in shops and restaurants along with handling money. She feels safe with her buddy and very much enjoys her time with them. For myself liaising with the very approachable team in the office nothing is ever a problem and if certain things cant be altered alternatives are always offered, it makes organising the buddy system for my daughter straight forward which is very much appreciated. This is working very well for us as a whole family.

Sadly, the most precious thing in my life, my wife, needs 24/7 care for everything. I am her carer. For my sanity, I have had to seek respite. Initially I worried that not only would others not be able to give that care as I would but also that she would not be happy about it. I took her to Foxes Bridge for a test day with a mixture of desperation and trepidation. I should not have worried. She has been going every week since. She has been cared for so well, with any issues alerted and discussed with me and she loves going there. In fact the only downside is that she has such a fun, interactive and interesting time that she comes home happy, warn out and not wishing to talk to me but instead wanting a nap. Whilst she is there, I can get on with what I need to do and do it without any concerns, knowing that she could not be better looked after even if I were there. That freedom and peace of mind is worth every penny. My thanks to everyone at Crossroads Foxes Bridge. You are stars.
