Do not buy a house from David Wilson/ Barratt homes here. Absolutely shocking workmanship, after care is none existent. Left my family without a useable garden for nearly two years, we only have one because we paid to sort it out. Absolutely disgusting, spend your money elsewhere!

Have to agree with the two previous reviews. Shocking workmanship and groundworks horrendous. Lots of issues on moving in. Plumbers had even put hot and cold fill wrong way round for en suite and had to have hole cut in bedroom wall to access it as shower unusable. Flooded garden eventually sorted but still had to get landscapers in to sort out back garden. Neighbours still unable to cut theirs after 9 months as too flooded! Turf in front died even after months of rain as laid on sand. They eventually replaced it after much nagging but still poor. Awaiting several snagging issues to be sorted after 9 months. Front door fitted badly and in spite of repeating requests and lots of inspection and all saying same thing .. Needs frame and door replacement as badly fitted, still awaiting this to be sorted. Drain pipe missing as ground workers covered up drain. It was picked up apparently but nothing was done about it. They just decided to miss drainpipe off. We could go on ... It's a shame as site managers excellent and helpful but their remit is obviously to get in with the new builds and no one is employed to cover customer care snagging issues it seems. Very disappointed in in David Wilson customer care head office. They making site managers job hard as well as an sure they are fed up with all the snagging issues.

Site managers from David Wilson looking after Barratts are a joke and do nothing . Don't waste your money!
