I've just been to Cardiology to have my intra-cardiac device checked. It's been an absolute pleasure. From the friendly and welcoming receptionist to the two technicians I have seen, the whole service very efficient and professional. I've been able to ask as many questions as I needed to and not been rushed. Left with a very good feeling.

NHS at it's finest. Sat in A&E at 2 am on a Monday morning with my disabled son. He's got a swollen leg, which needs looking at urgently as he's diabetic, been here hours. At least 60 others who've been waiting at least as long as us. Whole place is run down and filthy. Makes you proud to hand over your tax and national insurance. Wonder how much the parking will cost when we finally get out πŸ€”

From the call handlers to doctors / nurses cleaners porters. Flood assistants. The people who push you around. These people do an amazing job. In my opinion only the basic should be 40k and they would be paid their weight in gold. Not once have a heard or seen a negative comment. They truly do not know how amazing they are. Anyone who is part of the system should hold their heads high because I will be forever grateful for all the time efforts and care I have and am receiving.
Thank you all so much with all my heart ❀️

The team in The Acute Frailty Unit were absolutely angels on Christmas Eve. They looked after my mother with such care, focus, and respect for her well-being. Communication was clear and timely. My family are most grateful for their professionalism and dedication. We wish them all well over the holidays.

My husband became very ill and we had to go to the emergency room. The waiting room was full. Right from the start, the staff spoke to us in German. Help was offered immediately. It is certainly a long wait to be admitted, but they take care of us. We have never seen so many staff in a clinic. Every single patient is looked after, there are enough staff for every area. A whole team is always there for every sick person. This is our first time in England and we are very surprised by the care. Every single member of staff is attentive. They react immediately. Nobody is left alone. We are very surprised by this health system. We did not know it before. Big problem and foreign country, different language... it is not easy, but you are not alone. Help is at every corner, no matter what position the staff are in. We are surprised by the friendliness and professional medical care. My husband is perfectly looked after and ideally cared for here. Better than in Germany. He gets everything he needs, is constantly monitored and new tests are carried out. Nothing is left untried, nothing is too much. Excellent medical care. Many, many thanks to the entire team at the emergency room and the hospital.

My husband needed A&E following a crash in which the police asked he attend as a precaution. It was a long wait of 11 hours overnight, however, the staff there were brilliant, from reception staff, the cleaners to the Drs. All patients had their health monitored 2 hourly by a staff member. Tea & coffee were provided for all of us with patients offered food as well. All patients knew why there was a wait & for the most part All were polite towards staff; you always see someone seemingly more important than the rest of us. I cannot fault the support my husband was offered & feel proud to have such a service available to us no matter what our circumstances are. Thankfully my husband only needed strong meds & rest. Thanks to everyone working in the NHS.

Turned up for my operation. Got there at at 11:30am. Got seen at 12pm, Gowned up, in and out of the consultation rooms. Saw a couple of the staff that assist with the surgeon in the theatre asking me questions. Got to 4pm and the surgeon came out to me finally! Apologised and then told me that my surgery has to be cancelled. I had rearrange child care, work giving me time off work to heal for 2 weeks post op. I’m absolutely fuming. I was offered a operation date 5 days earlier… I have now been calling ENT to request another operation date asap due to the inconvenience this has caused me.
