I come in once a week as the hair dresser on a Tuesday morning for the last 15 years and this is by far the best home I come too, the lifestyle team are excellent with all they do and it really shows on the peoples faces that live here and it cheers me up too and look forward to coming in next time. The lifestyle team are always happy to help and turn having their hair done into an event and couldn’t do it without them. The home is always clean and tidy and very welcoming by all staff.

My mother moved to Devonshire Lodge 8 months ago. The staff are very kind and caring and she is treated with dignity and respect. Her room and all the communal areas are kept clean and tidy. There are many activities to take part in if she wishes. Her medical needs are very efficiently managed by the nursing teams. The staff have worked very hard to help her settle in and make it a happy place for her to be.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all my colleagues and management @ DHL for being a great mentor and all the support i receive from you guys throughout my pregnancy period. You ALL made my Nine month Pregnancy journey look like one day to me.

Most especially i want to sincerely appreciate my Home Manager (Mel Isherwood) for constantly checking up on me everyday at work to make sure i and my little one are safe .
Thank you once again for putting in health and safety measures to ensure i work safe during my pregnancy period.

My mother-in-law moved to the Devonshire when she developed dementia. Everyone was so kind and caring from the start. There were lots of activities and a lovely garden, which Mum loved. As her condition deteriorated, we were kept updated at every stage and the staff were so kind and caring at the end, to Mum and to us. The staff are amazing.

Lovely caring staff go out there way to help overs , keep dignity and privacy to all residents. They make them happy, sing dance ect with them , thing's that are important to them like reminiscing about a film and what they would do for a movie night . Baking, colouring in puzzles all sorts of things to help them be welcome.

I came to Devonshire 5 years ago, I wanted a bit more nursing experience of dementia nursing i was only going to stay for a year. Here I am 5 years later as clinical lead. Lovely family orientated home with a fabulous team and even more fabulous residents
