Need training in how to communicate with people. Patronising and rude. I turned to them for help and gave bad advice 3 years.ago. Therefore never got the full help I was entitled too. Was advised to speak to them again by Adult social care because of deterioration of health and mobility. Seems like I've missed that boat but her rudeness. I put the phone down on her after her telephone manner.

I had heard so much about this place that I called them for help and was told they couldn't help me. I suffer from severe anxiety, and distress, hernia, enlarged prostrate, diabetes, arthritis in both hips, wear and tear in my shoulders, depression, back pains, vitamin B12 deficiency, etc. I required help with PIP as I couldnt not attend an assessment and needed someone to sit with me at home during an assessment for an hour. This was not my request but that of Capita. They claimed to feel unsafe as anxiety leads to distress, distress to anger etc. I see a lot of people getting help who are pretending to be ill, yet I got told to go elsewhere. I have never asked for help previously from anyone and I will never ask any organization for help again. I felt suicidal and seriously depressed as the stress of dealing with Capita and others is doing my nut in. I guess I am just another person sitting at home taking pills for anxiety and stress and that deep down nobody give a **** anyway.

The is no way I would known what I was entitled to without the advise and understanding of the staff and volunteers, I was in a right pickle, helped me to fill in PIP forms and did a benefits check, I now have a better quality of life. Thank you everyone at Disability Peterborough
