Steer well clear of this company. They are not legal professionals and do not act in a professional manner at all. When questioned about the "donation" amount they decided to take me to the smalls claims court, rather than simply answer my email. They also have no understanding of supporting neurodivergent individuals, they ignore communication needs, and were extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. They gave incorrect and poor advice, I do not believe that they sent relevant evidence to DWP, and they generally do not seem to know what they are doing. They also did not even bother to turn up for my cousins PIP tribunal, telling her that a family member phoned them and said that it had been cancelled - something that did not happen.
Please avoid this company and make sure that the company that you choose has law professionals who have to abide by a professional code of conduct..... the people at DSP sure don't!

Currently asked for help with tribunal support. You wanted to claim 17.5% of all my total winnings if successful and the fact I questioned this (I didn't say no) meant you wouldn't support me and wouldn't even give me the chance to explain why I questioned it. You are meant to be a non profit charity. You were also very rude and inconsiderate on the phone.

Steer clear of this charity, they told me they would assist me with pip throughout the 3 stages if it came to it, now I’ve been refused pip again and it’s going to MR they’ve dropped me and refused to help me, I got nothing but abuse today and swore at by a Chris or Tom , then got more abuse and accused of mocking his disability because I asked why are you swearing at me! He then went on to say he had touretts, I didn’t know he had touretts maybe that should’ve be made clear when he takes a call and warn people.
They also warned me against having my pip assessment on the phone recorded, they were adamant don’t ask for it to be recorded because they’ll just put the phone.
I called capita to book the assessment, spoke to a lady at capita and I asked her if I could have the telephone assessment recorded, she said yes of course you can , it’s within your rights, and she requested it be recorded.
I then called DSP back and told them this and just got a err arrr response, I told them I think it’s bad advice your giving people to not ask for the assessment recorded when your untitled too. So anyone reading this get it recorded.
So this is why they have probably dropped me out at the MR stage.
Disgusting today how I was spoke to, being accused of taking the mick out of someone’s disability, made me feel uncomfortable. Not what I expected from a charity.

I think they mean well but they have people working on the phones that know less than people who call for help I rang for some advise on how to deal with a situation the guy said he didn't know the thing I was talking about even tho it's public knowledge abit worrying

came to tribunal and didnt even speak, put my case to oneside for 18 months, thinks because hes in a wheelchair will hold some sway,all round useless, someone else sorted it out in about two weeks

I've had help from them twice and volunteered there to seeing all the help that they do is amazing definitely recommend
