Highly recommend a visit here if you are holidaymakers like us. We spent abit of time on Chesil beach and had lunch in the cafe section. Not the cheapest but delivered on quality. The centre is great for adults jd children to learn about history and the views are also great of you just want to relax after a long walk.

A great little find. We visited in December and it was quite. The food looked amazing 😋 if hadn't just eaten I am sure it would have been good like the coffee. There was plenty of guidance about the site and the surrounding area. There were free to use monocular and binoculars to get a close up on visiting wildlife. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Located in a most beautiful location very close to Chessil Beach with wonderful views of the lake in front of it. Lovely gift shop and the Salted Pig coffee shop offering large value for money hot drinks and an array of food if hungry. Very attentive staff and the centre even has a number of binoculars for beds watches to sit and admire the local wildlife. There even is a large book for you to record anything you see in for others to read

Haven for walkers and bird watchers.
Very nice visitor centre. Plenty of information about Chesil Beach, the wild flowers that grow there and the wildlife that inhabits the area.
There’s a few children’s activities that go on here.

Shop is well stocked, sell decent binoculars as well as all sorts of items.

Bonus to visiting here is The Taste Cafe, food is always good, staff are friendly, toilets clean.

Beautiful location, yummy food served in the cafe. Plenty of parking. Recommended bringing binoculars to watch the water birds. Sep walk up the pebbles to the sea but definitely recommend it
