The community centre runs various events namely a gospel church, Rethink metal health club and finally the lunch-on-the-run cafe where staff think they own the entire building and can just do what they want. This is a very sad place to be and the staff from the cafe are totally unfriendly and arrogant, it most definitely isn't a place to visit. And by the way the cafe staff also believe they own the street outside the building, parking anywhere and just how they please; even blocking 2 designated parking spaces. I myself challenged them about this one Saturday when there was nowhere to park except on the pavement which luckily for me I am registered disabled and have a blue badge. Because I complained to them that they were blocking 2 designated parking spaces, they turned very aggressive and proceeded to take photos of my car parked on a pavement and then went on to report me to the club manager where I had travelled to attend. As a result of this the club manager who doesn't like me told me I couldn't come in because I was under investigation she never asked for my side of the story and didn't care a dam that I am a pensioner and had used my petrol to make the trip. She wouldn't even let me go in to get my friends'phone numbers so I could keep in touch. This Rethink facility beggars belief because of the manager and her entourage, if you are not one of the chosen ones you need to leave and never return because you will always be at a disadvantage. Please, please stay clear of this facility altogether.

Ideal venue for meetings or team away days. Clean, warm and hospitable. Staff are courteous and efficient. Lunch is very affordable and tasty. I would recommend this place. Definitely will use this venue again.

This is doing good things for the community, and we attended the second Autism Cafe that they held. There is big room for improvement though.

Disappointed that there was only one cake left (and only one slice) half way through the evening, when autistic children can't deal well with things not going to plan.

Staff were lovely, but the manager coming and chatting was too much for our teenage autistic son. He isn't keen to return.

Tables are too close together, it feels claustrophobic and I'm heavily pregnant, so squeezing past people was a challenge.

I'm sure things will improve with practice, but just a 3 star for me for now and not planning on a quick return.

Quite simply the best coffee and cake in Dudley, and I also have an excellent hall for hire with a licensed bar if needed. So refreshing to see the social enterprise company Lunch on the Run supporting and training individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities in the ways of work as they are working and providing service in the cafe
