Views are beautiful and the climb on top is not too hard, our 5 year old could do it πŸ™‚

Lovely reserve with good parking.
Hill fort is nicely looked after, teens said the views from the top were great ...I chose to believe them. Great mix of habitats.
Quite busy....and dog walkers need to do better clearing but not too bad.

Lovely walk, although a strenuous climb from car park, a double event, thr earth workings of a small fortified ditch and rampart farmstead at the base of the hill. And the much larger "hillfort" at the top.

Parking area was small but room for about a dozen vehicles and no charge. The approach road was single track and fortunately I didn't meet anything. The walk itself was along gravel paths but I didn't go all the way around. Great for dog walking.

Had great 2 hours hike with little kids. Some parts were quite steep for them, so they loved it and got those little legs (and the big ones!) tired. Job done 😎
