Took my mother to Urgent Care recently with a worrying heart problem. We arrived in a "quiet period", with an already packed waiting room and tired staff. I'd hate to arrive when its busy.

While it took some time before my mother was seen, and then transferred to Blackburn's A&E Resus unit i do feel, like previous visits to other parts of the hospital, that the staff have been professional and Do care very much. The sights in Blackburn's overwhelmed A&E will stay etched in my memory for a very long time. I think they saved my mother's life that day.

It's very obvious that here and everywhere else in the NHS has been chronically underfunded for over a decade by previous governments and it will require time, staff and a lot more money than is currently available to put things right.

If i have any complaint about this hospital (and indeed hospitals in general), it's that there are times when you don't feel doctors are listening. That your worries about this or that...are brushed off. It's especially noticeable in mental health. That aside, i still support our NHS, our doctors and nurses and the many others who work within it.

This experience was disappointing and not what I expected from a healthcare facility. I hope the hospital addresses these concerns to improve patient care in the future. such as long wait times, lack of communication from staff, inadequate treatment,

I have to say that I am very disappointed with the aftercare my father is currently receiving.
After an horrendous 15 weeks stay in 3 of your hospital (which is currently under investigation) my father has been sent home with minimal support.
OT's have carried out one home visit and no aids were offered to help him within the home even though I asked for a perching chair to help with bathing.
Physio have visited once with a view to visit again after a month. My father initially received intensive physio at Clitheroe Hospital now he is down to once a month.
It is awful to see an elderly gentleman struggling when the damage was caused by your staff in your hospitals.
I feel you need to look at your aftercare policy and put more effort in your care of the older generation

The staff don't listen to you I explained that I have severe nerve damage in my back. And asked her to set the bed where they needed it, I would settle myself she said ok I laid back then she dropped the head of the bed. At 9am its now 3.30pm and the pain is still there and will be over the next 2 or 3 days. They dont have time for you and as you get older it gets worse.

A recent visit to the Urogynaecology department proved to be well worthwhile. After months of disappointment at other venues, I was treated with the utmost respect, kindness and encouragement. Also it was refreshing to meet with a consultant who listened to my concerns and was very reassuring. I am now continuing to be treated in that remarkable department. Thank you
