I’ve just come back from a fabulous holiday diving in the Maldives. I could not have achieved this ambition without the instruction, leadership and friendship, afforded by enrolling on a PADI Open Water diving Course with East Lancs Diving. From the outset as an entirely new to diving person of 69years I was taught by friendly, patient and enthusiastic instructors in the safe environment of the swimming pool for six once a week sessions, followed by two open water days at Caperwray Dive centre near Lancaster. At all times I was allowed to learn at my own pace and given the confidence to progress towards dives in a real situation and setting. So when I arrived on holiday two weeks after my open water qualification I felt ready to experience my first dives on a reef and what an adventure that was. But I’m not here to describe that, I want to highly recommend to anyone who is contemplating learning to dive that these guys at East Lancs Diving will be there for you every step of the way. They accommodated my every need from specialist lensed face mask to managing the online learning platform from PADI and could not have been more attentive to safety throughout. So much so that throughout the 18 dives I achieved on my fantastic trip, the drills and safety procedures they had trained me with, shone clear through everything I did and fully concurred, as they should, with the PADI dive centre I worked with out in the Maldives half a world away. The whole process with East Lancs Diving worked wonderfully, start to finish and as a result so did my holiday. I can’t thank you guys enough and I highly recommend you all. So effective was their training that I was able to progress through my Advanced Open water and Nitrox courses, thanks to you building such a sound foundation for me. Having just completed my OW Dive course, I can confidently recommend the East Lancs Diving team to anyone looking to begin or further their PADI diving education journey. The instructors are fantastic; they're patient, kind and generally aiming to work with you either on a 1-1 basic or in a small group with others so that they can ensure your needs are met and that you're receiving the best education you can! With their guidance & support, I never felt like I was out of my depth (pun intended) and in the end I was able to complete all my dives confidently knowing that I was in safe hands.

I have just completed my open water dive course with East Lancs Divers. I cannot speak highly enough about the club and it's instructors.The e-learning and computer exams suited my learning style and I managed to work my way through the learning package. The pool sessions at Padiham were brilliant. Darren was my instructor and his down to earth, easy going ways put me at ease and made my learning a pleasure. He would explain what I was about to do and then demonstrate before I then undertook each technique.
We progressed to the open water element of the course which was split over two weekend days up at Capenwray and I passed my course.
ELD provided wetsuits, mask, snorkel, fins, BCD and every conceivable thing that I needed during the course. Everything I used was the absolute best gear available and I now have a long shopping list of stuff I am going to buy.
I am glad I decided to do my course with ELD, they could not do anything better and they couldn't have made me feel more welcome. If you are looking at doing your course this is the club to use.

We bought a closed water diving course for our son (10) for Christmas. The team at East Lancs Diving were excellent in supporting that with something to unwrap on the day and then of course delivering an excellent course - the instructors were all fantastic and pitched the content brilliantly. They were generous with their time and at no point did the course feel hurried. We look forwward to progressing him to open water when he is old enough! Thank you East Lancs Diving. C&T&J.

I did a test-dive with ELD and loved it, so much so I purchased the OW with a friend and they discounted the price off from our first 'test' dive - fast forward a few months and myself and my friend and certified Open Water Divers! I highly reccomend ELD for their people alone, they will make sure every question you have is answered and accomodate your availability around learning to dive.

Highly reccomended if you are interested in learning to dive.
