Peaceful walled garden, "so much potential", volunteers are working hard to make it a special place for education and learning, rest and relaxation, therapy and sanctuary. The Lodge and its walled garden provide a very restful space just a few footsteps away from the lovely landscape of Carshalton Ponds (stunningly beautiful as this corner of Carshalton is, it's totally compromised by the near-constant rumble of traffic and awful whiff of pollution).

Ecolocal is a wonderful organisation who offer lots to the local community. I’ve enjoyed the Frost Fair and Eco Fair previously. Ecolocal hosted a fabulous birthday party for me at the Lodge with gardening galore!

The event very good however the lack of toilets was a joke I think in total 17 toilets for maybe two thousand plus people
