The incredible staff at the Ellenor hospice are a credit to the local community.

The restaurant is absolutely incredible and they have the best food freshly baked daily!
Anything from fresh cakes and main meals.

I hate to leave a 1 star review as the staff were really helpful to my mum and our family when she received hospice at home care in 2021. Sadly, the same support was not there when my brother was sent home from hospital with days left to live last year. There was no support offered once he died. I was told someone would call me a few weeks after his death but have not heard from anyone nearly 9 months later. I emailed to ask for some help and no response at all. I did find a counsellor myself to provide bereavement support but they ended up making me feel worse.

My husband passed away 4 years ago he spent 3 half weeks in there . Those weeks life became easier for me and our family . We laughed we cried but every day was a beautiful day Rob was look after with kindness and love. I had to put this on here as just read a review whichcc CD really shocked me. I hope the person will soon realise that everything that can be done is done. If my husband was in pain it was look after and he never suffered but I’m sure at home I would never have coped. As a hospice over 3 half week and since I’ve seen nothing but love thank you again for being there for me hubby and family xx

I lost my Mum & Nan to cancer & on both occasions had amazing support & care from the hospice. I don't know how we as a family would have got through such a difficult time without them. Denise Younger one of the nurses is a true credit to you, she made my Mum's final time bareable. I will continue to support you with donations so you can continue your amazing work. I am so grateful for all you done.

Amazing hospice where we meet once a week to have lunch with others in the same situation. Lovely cafe serving snacks, light meals and tasty homemade cakes. A selection of small gifts and handmade cards for sale in reception area.

Some of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. They looked after my mum for the last few weeks of her life until she passed end of December. Couldn’t ask for a better place she could’ve been in. Can’t thank the staff enough.
