I want to sincerely thank one of the staff members at Enterprise in Oxford for her outstanding service. On 12/16/2024 I walked in and was looking for a SUV, she went above and beyond to help me find a rental car that perfectly accommodated our luggage needs. Additionally, she was incredibly helpful and even offered to drive us to another rental company to return our previous car. Her warm and dedicated assistance truly made our experience seamless. I highly recommend the Oxford Enterprise location for their exceptional customer service!

We had a great experience with them. The staff were polite and professional, making the process smooth and hassle-free. The service was quick, and we were on the road in no time. The car was spotless, modern, and in excellent condition. We even received a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the prices are on the higher side, making it more expensive than renting from the airport. That said, if you need a car in Oxford, this is a reliable and highly recommended option. The overall experience was excellent, and we’d use them again!

First time using enterprise for personal use,.used plenty of time before with work, and I am very impressed with the level of customer service and understanding. I went in after already booking a van with enterprise and read the reviews after I'd paid.. I was nervous because of the bad reviews stating colossal money was charged for previous damage or minor damage. The young Scottish lad (i didnt catch his name) was extremely friendly, helpful and calming after I explained I was nervous after reading the reviews. He advised me it was ok to film our interaction and all sides of the vehicle.

Vehicle was superb, there was some fairy minor damage around the van but nothing major and it drove brilliantly. I was very impressed.

I returned it 9 days later and was met by Yves, also a very friendly and helpful man.

Guys, my honest review is that this is no scam at all. Do your due diligence and photograph or record all damage on pick up, look after the vehicle as it was your own and return it on time and you will find it is extremely straightforward and hassle free company to hire from. I thoroughly recommend enterprise at botley.

Awful experience! So my car had to get repaired as another driver reversed into me and we went through her insurance company and I had to collect a rental car from Enterprise. When my husband and I went to collect it they did a check on the car before we drove it off which included scratches to body work and alloys (which there were many) but they didn’t check the tyres. When I took car back they inspected it and found a tiny chunk in the back tyre wall and said I probably hit a pot hole? Well not once whilst driving this car do I recall hitting a pot hole. I asked the manager what the procedure was and he said they would take my insurance excess which was £125 as a deposit, replace the tyre with an economy one which would cost £60 and then refund me my £125 back once this was all done. Having not heard anything after a few weeks and no refund showing in bank account I rang up Enterprise and asked when I would get a refund and the man I spoke to said it could take some time and once it’s done I will receive a refund of the difference which I was annoyed about as I didn’t think I was paying for the tyre! Then yesterday I received an email from the company fixing the tyre saying it was done and the tyre £90 plus admin fee £34 was covered by my deposit!

The guys who work here are lovely, but Enterprise rips off customers at every chance. We booked online with an agent, then arrived to collect the car and were told they had rented the car we booked to someone else and now only had premium vehicles for double the cost. They would not honour our reservation or give a discount since it was the company’s fault for booking a car they did not have. We were told the online agents book cars that do not exist and this happens all the time, with the customer paying the cost. It’s difficult not to feel it is a scam built into their business model. Total rip off. Be careful what you book!

I had a really positive experience with Enterprise Oxford having hired two cars from them recently. The customer service was excellent from everyone that I dealt with, they were extremely helpful, very pleasant to deal with and flexible when my requirements changed. I wholeheartedly recommend and will be sure to use them again next time.

Absolutely awful company. "Forgot" to deliver the car twice and made no attempt to collect it leaving me to store it.

They also attempted to take 7 random amounts from my bank for hire charges. They had no authorisation to do this as it was hired by my insurance company. They attempted to take nearly 900pounds from me. There is a fraud investigation pending and this is almost certainly a criminal act.

Due to them not collecting the car they sent my in case of emergency contact a message threatening to have them arrested for not returning the hire car. This was a number given in case there was a serious accident only. They had no knowledge that I even had a hire car and were incredibly frightened and upset by the message. They then proceeded to call her harassing her for the location of the car. She had to block their number in the end.

They finally came to get the car, 2 hours early when I wasn't home and tried to get into a locked compound. Despite me having the arrangements confirmed in writing.

When they finally collected the car they were an hour late, but given the hassle and upset caused I'm just grateful it's gone.

There is now a fraud investigation and a complaint to the ICO. The bank are advising whether I need to make a police report over the fraudulent transactions.

They have refused to give me the complaints procedure and advised that all complaints are dealt with by the local branch. It's the local branch I'm complaining about! I have asked 7 or 8 times for the complaints procedure and have been lied to repeatedly. This will now have to go direct to the ombudsman for resolution.

Do not use this company under any circumstances. They have caused me so much hassle and upset. I now have a frozen bank account, angry neighbours and my next of kin has refused to be used as a next of kin going forward.

I hired a luton van for my move from this branch. All the staff members were lovely, especially Chauni, she was so patient, friendly and polite, explained everything to us clearly. The branch respects your circumstances so much they willingly stay after their working time to serve the customers if there has been a delay, that happened to me on the day, I was a bit late, but everything went well, thanks to the team.
